What size self storage units do you have?
Most of our locations have sizes that range from 5 ft. x 5 ft. up to 10 ft. x 30 ft., and larger in some locations, with 9- to 10-ft. ceilings (sizes are all approximate). You can use our convenient Storage Sizes guide on this website to find the right amount of space that you will need. Of course, the best way to determine the size needed is to visit the property nearest you and ask our Storage Professionals for their input.

Do you have climate-controlled units? And what is the difference between a climate-controlled unit and a regular unit?
Climate-controlled units, which are designed to maintain a set temperature range, are available at many of our properties. Non-controlled units do not maintain a set temperature range.

Do I need a climate-controlled unit?
Due to our concrete and block construction, many of our regular units stay cooler than a typical steel wall building. Think of your garage; if you are comfortable placing something there, then the regular unit will be fine.

What is a drive-up unit?
Drive-up units allow you to unload directly from your vehicle into your unit. A large number of our units have drive-up access.

When can I access my self storage unit?
Every one of our properties allows you to access your unit from 6:00AM until 9:00PM, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Do you have a contract that I must sign?
Yes. A-AAAKey Mini Storage requires that you sign a rental agreement. It is a month-to-month lease with no long-term commitment.

Do you require insurance on the items that I place in self storage?
No, but we strongly recommend that you insure the items that you are storing with us. You may be covered under a policy that you already have, so be sure to check with your insurance agent to be sure. Affordable self storage insurance is available from us for a nominal monthly fee at the time you rent your unit. Your Storage Professional can provide you with more information.

What kind of documentation do I need in order to rent a unit from you?
We must see a valid government-issued form of photo identification (a driver’s license, state-issued ID or passport).

What happens if I lose my storage key or gate access code?
You should contact your A-AAAKey Mini Storage Professional during normal office hours for assistance.

When is my rent due?
All rents are due on the first of each month.

Do you take only cash for rent payments?
No. We accept cash, checks and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). For your convenience, we can also set your account up for automatic payment from a credit or bank debit card.

Do you accept commercial deliveries?
Yes. We will gladly accept your commercial delivery once you have given us written permission to do so.

Can I purchase moving and packing supplies from you?
Yes. We sell a full line of top-quality moving and packing supplies like boxes, tape, furniture covers, dish-packs, wardrobe boxes, shrink wraps, bubble wrap, packing paper, apartment kits and more. For more details, click to the Packing Supplies section of this wwebsite. [link]

What happens if I don’t use all the supplies that I purchased? Can I bring them back to you?
Yes. Simply return any unused or unopened item along with a copy of your purchase receipt up to 30 days from date of purchase and we will gladly process your refund either on the spot or by check within 14 days from date of return.

Does A-AAAKey Mini Storage provide me with a lock?
We do not provide a lock for your use. However, we sell quality sealed locks and you are the only one with the key. You are also welcome to provide your own lock.
